Friday Tonic - The Lane Lesson

It's Friday, the best day for most of us. I'll share with you today some of life's lessons. I'll call this the Friday Tonic. Driving myself has taught me some lessons.

I'm driving and I'm on a particular lane, it's moving and I'm happy. All of sudden, it's slow and the other lanes are moving, this makes me sad, I think of what to do, what could be causing the delay? Should I stay on my lane or change to another lane?  I'm not sure what to do, I can't bear to watch all these other cars speed past me. I manoveur to the fastest lane. It's moving and I'm happy. Suddenly, a driver forcefully gets in front of me, I'm livid, but then it's slow again. This time worse, not even a bumper to bumper movement. Now, here's someone who's jinxed, this once fast lane is at a standstill. I attempt one last move to another lane, I'm stuck trying to get on the lane.  I'm convinced I'm cursed. It's from my village. I'm looking at the cars that were once behind me speeding past me because the once slow lanes have opened up and moving really fast. I make up my mind to remain in this last lane and rely on the Higher Being to get me to my destination. Finally, it's moving. In no time I get to my destination and guess what? I'm on time for my meeting. I don't even remember all the cars that passed me on the way. I'm here now and it's all that matters. Can you relate to this?

  2. Lol! Murphy's Law. It's like waiting for a bus at the bus stop and after waiting for a while, you decide to start walking to save time and as soon as you move some distance from the bus stop a bus shows up, lol!
