Let's Glow Together

This a good day day to share this story,

Ada (not real name for privacy reasons) attended a prestigious all girls secondary school here in Lagos and according to her, all her best years were spent in the school. She attributes her success today to her foundation years in the school.

Her best friend then, Geraldine (not real name) was one friend that she longed to see but had lost touch with, she knew her family house and had been there a few times to ask of her friend. She stopped trying when she realised that her family carefully avoided giving her Geraldine’s contact. She remembers that Geraldine left the shores of the country in 1990 after their final examinations, to further her education and pursue her desired career as a medical doctor. She was dark in completion and really beautiful which earned her the nickname, “Black Beauty”.
Ada remembers that Geraldine was the only student who was usually bold enough to ask teachers questions and would ask the same question over and over again until she understood that particular topic well. This irritated some of her mates and even some teachers some of the time but Geraldine was never bothered.

Ada also remembers how Geraldine saved her from the wrath of her Maths teacher, there was an assignment to submit and Ada who had failed to submit on the due date was given another chance to do so. Ada’s favourite subject was not Maths and she was too stubborn to ask for assistance. On the due date, Ada was shocked when Geraldine handed her over a well worked out sheet of the assignment that she needed to submit. They were both in form two and that marked the beginning of their friendship which continued until they left the secondary.

Ada was recently diagnosed with type 2 diabetes and she had been seeing a specialist in a private hospital for diabetics. Her new doctor is very smart and knows her onions, Ada says she is a jolly good woman and makes diabetes appear very simple; always cheerful and with a positive attitude. Ada had made several visits to her doctor but on her most recent visit, as she was about to leave, Dr. Geraldine Rite called her “Ada Stone”, only someone who attended her secondary school would call her that.

Ada turned and sat back down; she looked hard at Dr. Rite and asked her who she was. Her doctor said “Black Beauty”, Ada found it hard to believe that black beauty was this yellow paw paw sitting in front of her and immediately Ada started to see some features that made her believe that she was actually face to face with Geraldine Rite, her best friend whose contact she had searched for all these while.

“What happened to you?” Why are you now fair?” Ada asked Geraldine bluntly, Ada said that although Geraldine is still beautiful, she would rather she was still dark skinned. She also noticed her slightly dark knuckles, Geraldine confided in her that she regrets changing her skin colour, it was unplanned, while studying abroad, she suffered a bit of complex being surrounded by white people, she started by toning and when she got a lot of compliments, she graduated to bleaching creams and there was no going back. She was embarrassed all the while to tell Ada that she was her childhood best friend, Geraldine because she knew that Ada could not tell it was her because of her skin colour.

This story was sent to me a while ago but I decided to share it today because I have some naturally produced skin and hair care products to give away from Gluta C. These products will complement your complexion and keep you looking younger.

Now these products are made from natural ingredients, they brighten your skin colour and give it the glow it needs. There are different products to compliment both the fair skin and the dark skin and the anti oxidants slow down the oxidation process which is the primary cause of aging.
Gluta C products range from soaps, shampoos, skin therapy oil, hair conditioner, and body lotion; and they contain natural components such as the Moringa, Argan oil and Papaya. There is a product for every skin colour and Gluta C just makes you love your skin colour. The Gluta C soaps make you want to take a bath over and over again, I can say it because I use it and I’m glowing. The feeling is so refreshing.

Please don’t ask if I am paid for this advert, before nko? But like I always say, I would not advertise a product if I am not sure of it. Just try and see for yourself. I have a small number of Gluta C products which I want my readers to try out, so please post a comment if you want a sample and I will send to you. (First come, first serve) I have products for all skin colours; let me know which you need. Hit me inbox if you find it hard to post a comment, amakanwosisi@yahoo.com.
