MTN Foundation Sponsored ‘Wakaa! The Musical’ Thrills Audience with Jaw-DroppingPerformance
It was definitely an Easter to remember for many Lagosians, families and friends who were present at the Terra Kulture Arena to watch ‘Wakaa! The Musical’ during the Easter weekend. The award winning musical charmed many including business moguls, celebrities and thespians such as Rita Dominic, Biola Alabi, and Prince Julius Adelusi-Adeluyi amongst others.
Directed by the multi-talented theatre genius, Bolanle Austen-Peters, ‘Wakaa! the Musical’ is a play about the trials, successes and experiences of young graduates with varied backgrounds. A wager between them after graduation has a twist when the realities of life and the folly of their choices hit them.
The performance was seamlessly executed by a talented crew with fascinating performances which have earned global recognition for its unique content, energetic delivery with a perfect blend of sound and graphics that enhances the narrative.
Last year, the hit stage plays ‘Wakaa! The Musical’ broke records by becoming the first Nigerian musical to make it to the London theatre scene.
Wakaa! The Musical runs every Sunday in April at Terra Arena (Terra Kulture), located at Plot 1376, Tiamiyu Savage Street, Victoria Island. There are 2 shows per day, at 3:00PM, and 7:00PM. Tickets are offered in three categories: Regular (N5, 000), VIP (N15, 000) and VVIP (N25,000).

I saw wakaa when the show came to London and I was not disappointed. The production was great and the cast awesome!!!!
