I received this story today and it's similar to a story I once shared. (A Revenge so Deep )
Yemi met Ike through a mutual friend, it was more like a blind date. Their friend knew that they would be a perfect match for each other. Ike was a very gentle guy, cool and calculated like they said.
He was a good dilution to Yemi's boisterous nature. She was such a lively person that even without making an effort, everyone noticed when she entered any place.
Once they were introduced, they hit it off like a house on fire and their relationship blossomed. Just before their wedding, Ike confided in her that he had come close to marrying another Lady who he dated for a long period.
He called off that particular relationship because he had seen some traits in her that he knew he couldn't live with. He had discussed them with her but she told him it was best to get used to her being that way. She was never going to change.
This wasn't a problem for Yemi, she felt no guilt, afterall, she never knew about her before she met Ike and at no point in the relationship did it ever appear like there was someone else in the picture.
Yemi and Ike had a successful wedding. Some months later, Yemi took in which delighted Ike so much. He told anyone who cared to listen that he was going to be a father.
About five months into the pregnancy, Yemi and Ike were on their way back from an occasion when they were attacked by armed robbers or so they thought.
One of the bandits, just approached Yemi, put a gun to her chest and shot her severally till she was dead. When the news broke, it was obvious that it was a case of assassination. The robbers did not steal anything from the couple and neither did they leave any scratch Ike.
The question was, on whose orders was Yemi murdered? Some believed it was Ike's ex girlfriend while some thought that Ike had a hand in his wife's death. (This is where our country has failed us, shouldn't the police have solved the mystery?)
A few years later, after mourning his wife; Ike tried his luck on marriage again. As soon as the new bride entered her husband's bedroom on her wedding night, she received several slaps and beatings mysteriously. She was just screaming and begging a woman only she could see to please spare her life; you could see the beating marks on her face and Ike was too shocked to react. (React? Who can fight a ghost)
No prize for guessing that it was Yemi who came fighting for her matrimonial bed.
A second time Ike got married again and the same thing happened, Yemi's spirit beat the second bride out of Ike's home.
People became convinced that it was Ike's who ordered his wife's assassination which was why Yemi's spirit frustrated his two attempts at marriage.Ghosts are real, but I never want to see one.
Ike is still unmarried; although he lives a normal life, his mental state is questionable.
As for having a hand in his wife's death, only God knows if and why.
Please will there be part 2? Lol at those mysterious slaps.
ReplyDeleteThis is not funny. He should think on how to appease the ghost or...
