It was Father’s Day today, I celebrate all the fathers who read my blog; whether you live up to expectations or not, Happy Father’s Day to you! It is not a day to trade blames or point accusing fingers, one day it will all make sense.
But I am here thinking of some kinds of fathers, someone told me a story of his friend who fell in love with the maid. He confessed to his wife that he preferred the maid, he didn’t ask his wife to leave, he simply moved into his servant’s quarters where the maid stayed and they live there happily together till date.
He obviously has children from his first wife and they all live in the house, will they go to the servant’s quarters today to wish their father a happy father’s day? Hmm…writing people’s stories have opened my eyes to a whole lot and I now see people in a different way.
It is a short post today and I am glad it is, I do not want to delve into this particular story, it sounds diabolical to me even though I know that it is not, we blame a lot of bad behaviours on black magic these days even when it is clear that the people involved walked into the dramas with their eyes wide open. But as usual, rather than take responsibility, we put the blame on the devil; the devil himself must really be tired.
A few words of advice for the men from my humble wealth of knowledge
v Don’t look at that strange woman a second time
v Self control is important
v Your family comes first
v Love your wife more but with your head
v Spend more time with your children
v Spend time with your wife but do not suffocate her
v Weekend getaways bring back the spark
v Take care of your parents too
v Cut down on the alcohol (Note to self too)
v Pray more!
Once again, Happy Father’s Day to all the men! I have something for you; watch this space…*wink*
By the way, Happy Father’s Day to my daddy, Ferdinand and to hubbylicious, Vic nwokeoma! Love you both too much

Well he's still their father & they are lucky to still have him alive so sending him a father's day wish is not a bad idea. I wish mine was still here. Thanks for this piece. I'll surely strive to adhere to your advice. God bless yu
