Come back home

This guy is one in a billion kind of guy.

Yul (not real name) got married to his childhood friend Angela (not real name) about three years ago.  It was a match made in heaven, Yul was a very focused young guy and he got his type in a wife. Angela was serious minded yet very outgoing.

She was the one who made all the friends, she knew everyone and everything that happened on the street. She still kept her home very organised and couldn't be faulted.  She called a spade and spade and was almost notorious for being too blunt.

Angela is the type who makes and serveS her husband's food herself no matter how tired she is.   She treats her husband like a king and makes sure everyone close to them treatd him as such.

The best plates,  dishes,  cups and cutlery are all reserved for him and no one dares touch them.

Yul's favourite spot in the living room was almost kept sacred, regular visitors to their home know that it was a taboo to go near his spot.

Not even his mother would make her wake him up when he slept.  She washed all his inner and under wears with her hands and ironed them too.  She wouldn't let anyone handle his personal stuff but her.

She was busier with her husband's business that it was a surprise how she equally had an interesting social life.

At their wedding ceremony they promised to tell each other the truth at all times no matter the outcome.

Yul recently confessed to Angela that when he travelled for the final burial rites of his grandmother,  he was caught up in the moment the night before he left and gave in to the yearnings of his flesh.

Right there in an open space behind a parked vehicle,  he devoured Havina (not real name), his cousin's friend who accompanied her to the funeral events; the moon would bear witness to the pleasure that both experienced that night.

Angela listened attentively as Yul narrated his story.  All that Angela said to him were "I'll get my revenge"

Angela made good her threat; she was seen by Yul's friend leaving a hotel hand in hand with a man, who she also kissed.  When confronted Angela admitted and had all her things packed and ready to go with their only child.

She left and has been living with her best friend.

Yul says that one week without his wife feels like one year,  he wants her back so desperately and has forgiven and forgotten all that she did.

Angela says that she's still not ready to come back home. (hello! you were caught in adultery and should be remorseful)

Yul hopes she'll have a change of heart and come home to him.

I wonder how many Nigerian men can ask a cheating wife to come back home.

  2. Well said Recky.
However, I hope Angela knows well not to push her luck too far.

Personally, I think it's a dis-service to ones' self to pay back a cheating husband by committing adultery. Be that as it may, such acts seem to get their attention real quick. Cheating men obviously can't stand a taste of their own medicine.

  3. That is no longer Love, the guy need to open his eye and see beyond, though he started it but that does not warrant the wife doing same openly. Pls try think twice Yul.

  4. They both committed adultery. Cheating is adultery. The both have to forgive each other. The man has to find out why he committed adultery first after being treated like a king and the wife should find it in her heart to forgive him and see if she wants the marriage to continue.

  5. The truth is, a devoured married woman cannot just get up and go fuck some random guy. Even if she cld, not hold hands n kissing outside d hotel room. My take is, Angela already was finning for some guy and when d opportunity came, she took it.....GBAM!
Yul made a mistake, 2 mistakes intact. Cheating and telling his wife.
U Shld knw ur spouse. No matter Hw loving or giving, some people just cannot handle some things.
My father in-law once said to me "it's not all things u tell ur wife. Not cos u don't love her, just so u don't loose her"!!
