On his way to see a friend one Saturday evening, Abe picked a girl who was waiting to get a cab to her sister's house as he later learnt. While in the car, the body language told him a lot about the extremely beautiful girl who sat right next to him; she was loose and he would not waste an opportunity for an easy lay.
Abe made an offer which Flora accepted and in no time they were both screaming their heads off in the damp smelly room of a cheap short stay in town
After their sexcapade, they decided to spend more time together and so Abe headed to his friend Dale's house with Flora, they had not quite settled down when Dale called Abe to the corner, Abe thought that there was a problem with the look of worry on Dale's face.
Before he could ask what the problem was, Dale went straight to asking who the damsel was and if she was Abe's girlfriend and if he had intentions of getting married to her and of course Abe responded in the negative. He had no such plans whatsoever.
Although he doubted Dale, yet Abe let Flora know what Dale had said to him and to his surprise, Flora made him promise to tell Dale the truth about their adventure earlier that day, Abe objected but she insisted.
Abe shamefully told his friend that he lied to him earlier on and narrated to him all that transpired between him and Flora. Another shocker for him was Dale's reaction. He told him that it did not matter to him.
Abe left Flora in Dale's home and the rest like they say, is history. Its been over a decade and they are still happily married and have five beautiful children.
When Abe asked Flora why she made him reveal their little secret to Dale, she said that it was important to her to give Dale the option of either accepting or rejecting her and if he had gone with the later then she would carry on with Abe who had given her a piece of him earlier in the day. She never envisaged that Dale would still want her afterwards.
Dale's desire for Flora after he heard her story made all the diffetence! She immediately knew that nobody will ever love her that way!
Love is not only blind, it is also deaf, dumb and mad!
When people share their real life stories such as this, I understand all the more why the bible says "God's ways are not our ways"
