Of all the news making the rounds across the world recently, the one that struck me for no obvious reason is this "Katie Price to divorce her third husband Kieran Hayler over a ‘year-long affair with their nanny"
I've often heard women say that they will never forgive their husbands if they cheat on them with the maid. Lol
My question to them is "Will you forgive him if he cheats with another woman who is not a maid? "
Why discriminate against your fellow human being? Is a maid not a woman and does she not have what you have and sometimes even better? Lol
This particular topic makes me laugh because a lot of women live in denial, you know your man so why do you bring a mature young lady with those pointing young boobs to live with you?
Why do you look for trouble? You can never place a flat tyre beside a bouncy one and expect the buyer to choose the flat one. Wake up from your slumber sister!
If you are truly sure of your husband that he will not dare look at the maid, then do as you like but hope your heart is strong enough to handle the betrayal if it ever happens?
I remember when I once had one well endowed lady as a nanny to my kids, we travelled to see my mum and as soon as mum saw her, she opened her eyes in shock and went, "Nwamaka! How can you employ this agidigba nwanyi as a nanny" (agidigba Igbo slang for bogus, too big) She went on to say that between the two of us, the nanny looked more like my madam. Hahahahahaha!
She also asked what my husband thought and I said he was okay with it, besides, I trust him. He won't descend that low. (See how we women reason.hmm) She just said "okay oh", but this one is definitely not good. She was right, the nanny stole from me but not my husband, she rendered me goldless till date.
I have had all sorts of live-in nannies all in desperation to get help with house work and the children and now when I look back I just shudder.
I had one who was obviously into men, she made passes at any available man and once, some of our friends came to visit; they were guys and when they left, hubby told me that they asked him who set a trap for him. We had a good laugh.
When I travelled for a while, she was with the kids and hubby. I couldn't eliminate the fact that she was a fantastic nanny, excellent with the boys and a very good cook. Those mattered more to me than fighting for tortilla.
I remember calling hubby from my trip and he told me that he took the boys to a party. When I asked where the nanny was, he said to me that she was standing right next to him in a pair of tight jeans and a tank top, and that he had been telling people that she was the nanny and not a girlfriend. Lol
Of course he got a few mischievous winks from some friends. Men are bad for real! Did I mention that the chic is 6feet tall and she had one of the best figures I'd ever seen. Lol
It's also interesting to know that it is usually the supposedly distinguished men that go for the nannies. Their reasons are so crude; some of them have told me that the village cheesecake tastes better. They call it the "kpum" (whatever that means)
Arnold Schwarzenegger did it, Jude Law did it and I know some of our prominent Nigerian men who even married theirs. Someone I took it up with said she was his secretary and not a maid and I'm like what's the difference? Your personal secretary is your corporate maid with due respect to all personal secretaries.
It happens everywhere, men are wired same way, the only difference is that when it happens in the western world, it will be referred to as love, "he fell in love with the nanny" but over here, the nanny used jazz (black magic)
Another thing that comes to mind when this topic comes up is why do we only hear of the men and the nannies and not the women and the houseboys? If at all we hear of the women, it usually reads, "woman caught with her houseboy/driver" I can already hear some men shouting that it's a man's world. I hear you!
Anyway, women should tell themselves the truth and act accordingly, if your husband has the tendency please help him and keep nannies out of your home except you can deal with the consequences.
Choose from the many alternatives out there and please pray more for your home!

ReplyDeleteLol,only few men can resist beautiful nannies. It's better not to engage them at all irrespective of how honourable your husband is. We only reason when we've finished the act.LOL.
