New Love

I wish I could confidently say that it's a super Monday for me today but I'm struggling. 

Life is quite unpredictable, hale and hearty this minute and very sick the next. 

I mean I was good yesterday and in high spirits. How I went from that to getting an injection to stop me from shaking uncontrollably from cold is still shocking to me. 

Those fever breaker drugs that are administered through injections should be banned.  So so painful. 

In all my discomfort in the hospital, I couldn't help but notice this very gorgeous and young couple. Of course in my eyes, the guy looked better. Lol. But hey, the lady was so beautiful. 

I watched as they showed affection openly to each other and all I could think of was how sweet early stages of marriage are; new love. You can't get enough of each other till the challenges start coming. 

I thought of how I used to kneel and pray that hubby's favourite team Manchester United would win just so he would come to bed happily. 

These days I don't even know if they are playing or not. O wo lo ko mi be? (meaning what's my business with that? Hope I wrote that well?) 

Flavour the musician couldn't have captured it better in his song. "E bidosia o na aso" (when it's new it's sweet - referring to marriage) heehee!
