Terrific Tuesday

It's amazing how nice human beings can be. After my post yesterday, I  lost count of the number of people who reached out to me via phone call,  email and whatsapp to wish me well.  It made me realise that man was created to be good.

So how and when did it all go wrong? Man's inhumanity to man; what causes it?

I'm not just referring to the horrible killings all over the country but also to the indecent ways people treat each other in relationships.

Yesterday, I read on another platform of a man who left his live-in lover at home to go get married to another woman.

The story goes that the man left home like he was going to work but goes to get married instead.

The lady's friend saw the picture online and told her friend who quickly rushed home only to discover that the stranger had packed all his belongings. She never heard from him and so never got answers. Anyone who treats you this way is surely a stranger.

My questions are a lot,  why would a man lead a woman on?  Why the dishonesty? And why the callousness?  This must have been very heartbreaking for the lady and could make one very irrational.

The other story is of the lady that proposed to a guy openly and he rejected her proposal.  It was reported that he bent over while she knelt down there on one knee and whispered in her ear that he was already married. What a perfect time to reveal that important piece of information.

Where did Nigerian ladies even learn to propose to men? In my opinion, its  not our culture, it doesn't sit well and definitely not romantic.

When in a relationship,  it is important to be open and if the feelings at any point change just let the other party know.

Carrying on like everything is fine is not just right. There's no gain in playing with someone's emotions and peace of mind.

You date a girl so well that she decides to do the extraordinary and propose to you then you give her your good news. Well done sir!

I will never encourage a woman to propose to a guy. Mbanu! And publicly too? No way! If you'll ever do such a thing please do it privately so you take your shame alone in this case.

Don't move in with a guy that you are not married to, there will be nothing more to discover if you eventually get married. More so, it's not right if you are a Christian, not sure what the Quran says about it.

By the way, I'm a lot better today,  rested a lot during the day hence my late post.  I've been trying to post early for about two weeks now. Hope I can stick to it. I'm sure it was a terrific Tuesday for everyone?

  3. On 29th of February every leap year any woman anywhere in the World has once in a four years chance to propose to her lover for marriage... It's called "THE EXCEPTIONAL PROPOSAL" There's nothing wrong in that!.... That's one of the beautiful things about a leap year!... And just like women a Guy has the right to BLUFF or even say outright NO!...Many nice Guys who were bluffed by a Girl for so long fight back on that day.... And many times, still go ahead to marry the same Girl... It's one of the interesting celebrations on this planet!... A BLUFFED LADY SHOULD BE PATIENT... YOUR GUY MAY STILL COME BACK IN AN INTERESTING SURPRISE>>>WATCH A MOVIE CALLED "CROCODILE DUNDEE"

  5. Enbanu! Public proposal is no proposal. Moreso by a lady. If it happens and by a lady, that lady has a hidden agenda; there could be other lady/ladies preventing her getting through to the man and she want to show her suprimacy in winning the man's heart.

  6. Thank God you're OK now. It's funny how bad things have been until a woman is proposing. When I saw that picture I just made the sign of the cross. This isn't India Abeg. Let's maintain our beautiful Africa culture. The worst is moving in. Then later the man will throw you out... Yes when the real soccer match starts... A new ball is always picked, not the practice ball.

  7. Thank God you are strong now. I have been trying to post my comments for over two days now but they kept telling me that web page is not available. For the incidence that you posted, each time this type of things happens, selfishness is at play or there is a case of complex. So let's dig deeper into the matter before apportioning blame.
