The Thorn on a Rose 5

Eloka came home briefly after he had been away for twelve weeks.

He told her that he missed her and had to leave his job to come be with her. That night, while he did to her what he knew how best to do BuChim realised why she married him. She was so sure that the maid and security man heard her moaning and screaming like a wild animal.

Eloka sure knew how to make up for lost times, while he thrusted deep into her he cried and told her how sorry he was for everything he had done.

Of course she accepted his apology, Eloka was around for two weeks and he took her to places she'd never been every single night for all the days he spent with her till he was ready to return to work.

Eloka asked for a loan of One Million Naira. He needed to invest in the legal case, his client would pay him handsomely after they are compensated for all that his client had lost to the state government.

Eloka was so excited about the case and she wouldn't kill the excitement by refusing to give him the loan.

That would make it over Ten Million Naira that she had given to him both in cash and kind.

He never paid for the interior décor she did in his home and she never bothered to ask him.

His uncle who was like his father had a major surgery and it was BuChim who paid the bill because Eloka had  lost some money then in a business deal that went wrong.

"This is the last time I'll loan him money" BuChim thought to herself after Eloka left but she said the same thing the last time.

Some weeks later,  her father came visiting; he had been worried about her and could sense that all was not well with his daughter.

BuChim was left with no other option, she let it all out and her tears flowed freely. Her life's savings had depleted greatly as well, she was gradually losing it.
