Good evening good people, it's an agony aunt evening.
A reader sent this question to me and I gave my response but will be grateful for other people's opinions on this issue.
The person in question is a Mature Single Woman (MSW). Please bear in mind that my definition of a MSW is an unmarried or previously married lady above the age of 35 years.
The issue:
Sis, please I need your advice, I have been praying for a husband but now advised by someone to get pregnant randomly and have my own child as time waits for nobody.
My advice:
Dear LBR, I'll give you two responses spiritually and worldly.
God's time is the best. That's what the religious will say to you and that's what I'll say to you as well.
In reality I know how you feel and there's nothing as beautiful as having a child of your own.
But be sure that you can afford to give him or her the best on your own. Let it not be a bait to get married but if it happens beautiful, if not be ready to give the baby or babies your very best. Yes you may even have twins!

God's time is the best. Getting her own child out of wedlock involves fornication with its attendant issues. Let her adopt a kid from any good orphanage while waiting for her husband.

DeleteNo one really had the answer. She has to act on feeling and be content with her decision.
DeleteFornication is not the only way. Sperm donor and artificial insemination.
DeleteBearing a child out of marriage has it's own implications. One has to be careful
ReplyDeleteIt is difficult to go thru it without sinning/breaking someone’s heart because you will most likely get pregnant by a married man. If you choose to do so, at least wait till you’re 45.

SEXUAL ACTIVITY IS NO LONGER AT THE SLIGHTEST TORCH OR CARRASSES BUT "WHEN YOU'RE IN THE MOOD..." ReplyDeleteNne time is barely on your side but by 40 years old forget this idea I think. If you have the necessary resources like stable income, some kind of family support interms of watching & caring for the baby while at work then full Joy to you.

If she feel no time for her again,please born Your Own child your own blood please.so many people is trouble they don't even know when they will come out of it because of the child they adopted. Any man who is interested to marry you will also accept your child. Because is a most that everyone most get married thanks.
