Arranged Meeting 3

He started with a kiss and for a first timer Gina did very well. He kissed her tears away but the more he did the more she cried.

He then broke the silence, "please marry me Gina, I am begging you. I left my girlfriend and avoided any serious relationship with any woman all because of you" he told her that he had waited that long for her.

"Make love to me Ugo" was all that Gina said. He hesitated but Gina pleaded. "Its my parting gift to you".

Without further delay, Ugo took from Gina what she would never get back from him. He was gentle but knew when to hit hard, it was a different kind of moaning; pure and genuine.

That night in his home, he made her come over and over again. He taught her what she didn't learn in her biology class. She couldnt get enough of him. They  spent over three hours together but it felt like seconds.

On her way out, she asked Ugo why he never told her how sweet sex was and jokingly called him wicked for denying her such pleasure through the years.

They both laughed but just then Ugo knelt down and begged her again not to go on with the wedding and marry him instead.

She left without saying a word, she did not want to cry anymore. It was way past midnight when she got back to the hotel where she was staying with her maids of honour in preparation for her big day.

Her friends had been worried sick about her short disappearance but were afraid to tell anyone. Gina just told them that she was fine.

As she took her vows in church later that day, she knew that she was lying under oath, what she got from Ugo she would go back for again and again. It was no parting gift.

She was angry with her parents, she wanted a happy loving home but they didn't let that happen for her and now she would be an adulteress, no thanks to daddy and mummy.

She was unconcerned about what Lami would think of her. He didn't believe her anyway and that night as he whispered in strange languages to her all she did was think of Ugo.

Its been three years; Gina has one child with Lami, her marriage is doing okay but her heart is still with another. Its a double whammy for her, she's not very happy in her marriage and Ugo will not play the other guy.

Gina admits that Lami is doing great as a husband and father. More so, his anaconda is a masterpiece but there's still a gap in her heart which will take more than an anaconda to fill.

Ugo will be married soon to a lady he barely knows. He's still broken but has journeyed on.

Me: Gina, three years is enough time to get over someone. Ugo is a great guy who will not indulge in that which is forbidden. Not many guys are that scrupulous. Please let him be.

PS: Ugo recently wrote Gina a letter that I may share soon.

  4. It's a pity. We still have arranged marriages.

Gina should forget about Ugo and concentrate on her family. Life isn't only about sex

  6. Yes I agree with you. I still believe that she will overcome. Ugo not doing the forbidden is good enough to clean her up with time. I pray Ugo grows to love his wife so i pray for Gina.
I want to believe it's God at work for there is a reason for all that comes our way in life. Keep it up Amaka but pls let's have the letter soon so we can as well move on like them.
    Thanks

  7. Parents should allow their children to marry their choice to avoid broken homes. Who knows whether the baby she had with the husband is his

  9. ...marrying a lady he barely knows. That doesn't sound about right. Why is he getting married in the first place? To forget about Gina or it's cause of the pressure from family and friends telling him he's way past 40 and should settle down?

In life, sometimes (more often than not) we fall in love more than once, but it's a beautiful thing when you fall in love and marry the person. You can meet someone and know after a few days that this is it, other times, it might take a few months or years for you to know. Marriage is hard work even when you marry someone you truly love.

You can meet a couple, both of them are super great people but their marriage is a mess, you just can't figure out why both can't make it work.

In a way I believe that if they were meant to be, Gina wouldn't have married that guy...what's his name?. Unless God kills off the guy now and these two come back together, then you can say that and God hates adultery. So now this has happened!

God will prepare another woman for Ugo, so it means in a way, we may not have one soulmate in life, they are just phases for us to fall and get back up(if you happen not to marry the person you wanted to marry that is)

Ugo, Never get into a marriage because you have to. The love of your life/soulmate is still out there! It's better to have a broken engagement than a broken marriage!
Bad marriage is hell! Ask those that live in it on a daily basis, sometimes they wish they never wake up!

  10. If you want to marry just to "begat" then by all means marry the girl.

Marriage is meant to be two people working together as a single unit, one mind, one vision..etc. Getting married to prevent people from concluding that you might be gay or you have a spirit husband/wife ( people will always think in the negative) then by all means proceed to drown further. If the two of you don't believe in each other's dreams and plans and are supportive from the start, then "Houston we have a problem"

The race is not to the swift. Bible says one person puts to flight a thousand and two..ten thousand.
A married couple's aim should be to work as a formidable force, one to reckon with...even if you only make an impact or difference in your small street ( not by how many cars you have but how many lives you affect positively) leave a good thumbprint.

Marriage should be the one thing you get right..the first time (assuming nobody dies) and not by applying a "Thomas Edison method" ...getting married multiple times until you find the ONE.

P.S. Gina, pls stop committing adultery in your heart ( its same as physically doing it in God's eyes) by pinning for another woman's husband.
A person remains special in your heart as long as you want him to.

  11. Well i disagree with you Amaks. Three years ain't really enough for her to get over her feelings for UGO cos we are considering the fact that this is her first TRUE LOVE and she ain't in Love with LAMI at all. she was compelled and did what she did not for herself but to pls her parents hoping they must know whats best for her. Truth be told, a lot of people but a few are in marriages and relationships with who they are not really in love with cos of diverse reasons which might look like Gina's. Try making your investigations properly and your findings may blow your mind...

  12. Hmmm Amaka this is life. It happens. Love is mysterious sometimes. The heart of this matter is in the heart.
    Great job

  13. it is foolishness to sacrifice your happiness (in marriage) just to keep your parents (who have their own marriage) happy
