It's not my Right

Every birthday I see reminds me of how good God is to me. It's not my right to be alive and healthy but I am.

It's not my right to be beautiful but I am.

I don't have to be eloquent but I sure am.  

I am a mother and a wife, many wish to be but are not.

I could be a drug addict, criminal or in a psychiatric hospital but I am not.

I could be a beggar or a sex worker or even a con woman but God said No.

I could be an illiterate or a roadside hawker or a street cleaner or even a vagabond.

Who am I Lord that You (the Father of the universe)are mindful of me?

My sons Nnaemeka, Chukwuebuka, EkenediliChukwu, KaetoChukwu and KaoranunaChukwudimma surround my table like olive branches. They are lovely and their father Victor is amazing. It could have all been the other way round.

This morning Nnaemeka sent me this text 

"I'm not so good at writing, so I don't even know where or how to start, plus it really sucks that I have to tell you through text, I wish I was there in person. I pray, o Lord, that as you have turned a year older, I pray for strength to carry you on with your endeavours, I pray for wisdom to help you understand situations and always know what to do, I pray that the Lord continues to provide for you according to his riches, cause you deserve his blessings, many years to come is your portion, all sorts and forms of evil around you shall run from you, anyone speaking against you, I cast away with the blood of Jesus that speaketh. I love you so much mummy and I'll do anything and everything to see you happy, have a blessed day, it's your day no one can spoil it✌🏾" "Happy birthday mum"❤ (this boy knows his mummy too well😁)

Now looking at my life I would change just one thing and for that reason my birthday gift to myself is to hit the gym today. By the way I'm accepting spa and gym vouchers as birthday gifts. 😚
