On top of the World

Ore is a single mother who boldly walked out of her toxic marriage for her sanity and the safety of her children.

Shortly after she ended her marriage, she was employed by a an upcoming service providing  company and in the course of her job became close friends with her client Oba.

It was a welcome development as Oba became her confidant with whom she shared deep secrets about her failed marriage that she had never shared with anyone even her family.

Oba filled the vacuum that Tonti her ex husband created. Even with her job, the financial obligations were enormous on Ore. She had school fees, house rent, feeding and general well being of her children all on her shoulders.

As soon as Ore left with their three children, Tonti stopped every form of support to his estranged family.

The way to a single mother's heart is love for her children ~ proudly my quote ~

As their friendship grew, Oba became a source of help to Ore and her children. He took up most of her bills happily, especially the ones for her children. Ore had no reason to complain, she was on top of the world.

Naturally Ore fell deeply in love with Oba. He was there for her in her darkest moments and she was more than happy to become more than friends with him.

With Oba's help, Ore went back to school to  complete a graduate course. It was a dream come true for her.

Everything seemed perfect till Oba decided to take the relationship several steps further by proposing to Ore.

She deserved to be happy again after the betrayal from Tonti. It was God's way of wiping her tears and rewarding her for her patience and endurance.

Then Oba asked Ore to send her children to live with her mother so they would have the time to bond as husband and wife.

  3. Most marriages are usually so painful and undeserving. But the courage to end it considering the consequences is a hard decision to make. Being patient n persevering till the end is a grace we need to seek from God. There is no trouble free home. Probably that is ones cross. I believe with Him all things are possible.
