A very Unique Way!

Marriage is an institution with no hard or fast rules to it.  What works for a couple may be a taboo for another couple.

Jigo and Kaodialu had been married for fifteen years when they eventually decided to do something about their childlessness.

The years were quite turbulent for the couple as they faced a lot of disturbances from third parties especially Jigo's family.

After just three years, his mother came visiting and brought a very beautiful girl from the village who she insisted would live with the couple.

She said the young girl would help Kaodialu with the house work so that Kaodialu would concentrate on getting pregnant. The couple knew that mama had something up her sleeves but played along.

Mama spent three weeks in their home with Ese the village girl. A day after mama left, Jigo and Kaodialu took Ese to the park and sent her back straight to the village. They gave her enough money that made her refuse mama's request to go back to her son's house.

This event caused a lot of problems in the family. Jigo' s mother alleged that Kaodalu had no trust in her and accused Kodailu of calling her a witch who brought a wife for her husband.

Jigo's wife was invited to defend herself at a family meeting after which she knelt down and apologised to her mother-in-law.

Later on, the family asked the couple to go back to base with Ese but that was when the gentle Jigo surprised his mother and kinsman.

He got up and told them that they had gone too far, he said that his mother or anyone at all from his family should not contact him or his wife ever again. He stormed out of the meeting pulling his wife behind him.

It took a lot of pleading from Kaodialu to get Jigo to speak to his mother and siblings again. However, he still insisted that no one should visit his home.

Jigo and Kaodialu knew what the problem was. While in the university Kaodialu fell pregnant by Jigo and went through a very bad abortion which damaged her womb. Jigo promised to marry her and suffer the repurcusion with her. (Very rare fellow)

It was in the fifteenth year of their marriage that both Jigo and Kaodialu decided to have a child of their own In a very unique way.

Kaodialu found a young lady who she had monitored for close to a year. The young lady had three children out of wedlock but on getting close to her she discovered that she was not wayward like people said she was. Okwukwe was simply a victim of a failed society......  to be contd.

  1. Both of them know their secret which made them guilty of the same offense and Jigo is only keeping to his vow. This calls for Divine intervention
