A very Unique Way - conclusion

They had a gentleman's agreement for the young lady to bear their child for a sum.

The interesting part of this arrangement was the process of conception. Jigo had to sleep with Okwukwe to get her pregnant.

Kaodialu worked with Okwukwe to get her into their home on her conceivable days. (Talk about human beings playing God)

She did conceive and nine months later they were blessed with a bouncing baby boy.

One would think that there would be a twist to this story but there isn't. They all kept their parts of the deal.

Jigo slept with Okwukwe just for the purpose of getting her pregnant. (I would like to know how many times.lol) Kaodialu took absolute care of her while she was pregnant and made sure she got the best treatment. Okwukwe nursed her baby for six months and thereafter left the couple to take care of their baby.

She relocated with her other children to her hometown which was something she had always wanted to do.

Everyone is happy. Jigo and Kaodialu say they are grateful to God. Hmmm. Jigo junior is a healthy three year old and Okwukwe has never contacted the couple till date.

Me: I am yet to find a name for this arrangement. A special kind of surrogacy if you ask me. It's complicated to me and I'm genuinely worried that something may go wrong some day! Like Okwukwe asking for her biological son or Jigo going back to Okwukwe's punani. I truly wish it continues to be a happy ending for all involved.

  1. Let your heart not be troubled as it was a Divine arrangement founded on trust. If eventually Jigo happens to go back for Okwukwe's punani, then he will not be surprise to meet his Waterloo. Further more Jigo and Kaodialu should make hay while the sun shine by thinking of how relocate to another city and at the sametime rebaptise the baby for security reasons.

  3. Scary.I am thinkkng something bad might happen later.May be a health condition will make them look for her .On the other hand what happned to a normal surrogacy with insemination and not the thing direct. The type where the wife's egg id fertilized with the hubby's sperm then planted into the surrogate mother..na wa for kaodialu...she has allpwed desperation to take over her wise judgement with the direct contact arrangement.

Hmm let stop there b4 I become the judge which I always try not to when it comes to marriage issues .
