Chronicles of Kaoranu 2

The first thing I asked for was my rosary which was somewhere on the floor, the nurse quickly found it and handed it over to me, I started to scream and all I could hear myself say was Mother Mary!!!!! There was already a look of worry on the faces of the doctors and I noticed that even more doctors had come into the room.

I heard one say that the baby was distressed and had to come out immediately, more gadgets were being placed on my body and in a sudden turn of events, I began to push. I took the doctors unawares and they all rushed to my side.

I was screaming Mother Mary as I pushed, it was like calling out to my own mother for strength. Just like we say “mama m oh!” in some difficult situations.

I felt the power as I went from being very weak to being very strong, then the promises of God began to flash through my mind, “fear not for I am with you, the water will not drown you, the fire will not burn you, the flames will not scourge you” I called out Mother Mary all the more.

I could hear the doctors as they asked me to stop pushing but the power in me which I could explain (it was super natural) was too much in me and so I pushed until KaoranunaChukwudimma came forth. Can I get an Amen?

And he came 23/09/2012

Then he did not cry, and as the paediatrician took him to his crib by the side of my bed, I thanked God for the healthy baby that he promised me, I closed my eyes and prayed for my baby to cry, he had pooped in the stomach and so he had all sorts of fluid in him. 

I could hear the sound of the suctions and I silently thought of how they would have just turned him upside down back home and he would have been crying since.lol. In a short while I heard my baby cry, a cry had never been that appreciated. God kept his promise.

Then came the third hurdle that was revealed to me while I prayed, God had asked me to pray against placenta previa and so when the wait for my placenta to disengage from my body began, I just smiled and knew that everything would be alright. I had prayed about it and I knew that it was settled.

It took an unusually long time and I had to push it out like I was having another baby. Every hour for two days, the nurses checked on me to be sure that I wasn’t bleeding. I was told that my body suffered too much trauma at the delivery and they needed to eliminate any chances of bleeding before letting me go.

When you see a pregnant woman, please take a second to pray for her to deliver her child safely, forget about the circumstances surrounding the pregnancy or the sex of the baby. Only the living can repent or have any sex of baby. 

When a pregnant woman goes into the labour room, it is a thin line between life and death; it is a survival of the fittest only that this time, victory is not to the strongest but to whom the Lord gives the Grace to live.
