One night while Sade was having dinner at a popular restaurant, she saw a car that looked familiar but couldn't tell who it belonged to.
After her dinner she left for the hostel, as she got closer she noticed the same car at the car park. Standing by the car in an intimate manner were two familiar faces.
She went closer and burst into tears when she saw it was Fina her friend holding her favourite uncle Duke in the most romantic way.
She kept asking uncle Duke how he could betray her. She kept crying and screaming at her father's friend.
When Sade told uncle Duke that he took her love for granted Fina suddenly found her voice. "Sade you mean you have been banging uncle Duke?"
Sade couldn't deny it. She opened up to her estranged friend that she had been in love with uncle Duke for a long time. It was a secret that they both shared.
Sade moved on after the incident, years later uncle Duke abandoned his wife and children who lived abroad all the while for Fina and they are together till this day.
She has spoken to neither her friend nor her "Uncle Duke" ever since but heard that they live together in a posh part of town and Fina was recently delivered of a set of twins.
Sade still feels hurt and actually found it very difficult cope without her best friend and secret lover.
Me: Uncle Duke should have been made to pay for taking advantage of his friend's daughter. Fina is just one out of the too many Finas.
She's nothing but a gold digger. Her type will do anything to escape poverty.
Sade should ask God for pardon for betraying her own parents. Duke and Fina should meet their waterloo someday. But then life does not always happen that way.
