Could this be love? I stumbled upon a story on social media of a Caucasian man who fell in love with an African lady that he met while he was in Africa. The particular African country was not stated.
This African lady is not the regular
African slay queen, she is a real 'kpum', the raw type, the bush meat type, the
kind of woman that we will not look at a second time. the kind of woman that
has been relegated to a life of hardship and penury.
I was left wondering how the pair
met themselves and as a hopeless romantic, it made me believe in the power of
love again. In a world where many women both young and old go under the knife
just to impress the men, this is cheering news.
This woman was found in her wonderfully
and fearfully made status; no additions, no subtractions. She did not fix false
eye lashes, no fake boobs, no fake hips, no tummy tuck and no tightening of the
vjayjay. She was just 'turninoninown' hahaha and love found her.
Perfect love I dare say; the type
that would turn her life around and remove the sufferings of the past and usher
her into a beautiful future where all could be well.
If you are wondering why it is
such a big deal that an African woman was the fancy of a white man, then you
must be living in another planet. Most African countries are impoverished and the
citizens live in conditions not even fit for animals. Finding love with someone
who is capable of bringing to an end everything that has brought one pain is a
big deal.
The man in question is not a
Denzel Washington or like my darling hubby. Lol! But the circumstances in this
case made him pure diamond in the rough.
I also understand that millions of
people in different African countries have lived in abnormal conditions for
years that they know nothing else but that kind of life and may not understand
what it means to live any other way, however, it is wrong for anyone to get
used to suffering.
Living in an open space and enjoying
the full moon or the wild life, eating fresh food of unprocessed livestock and
vegetables are not my examples of living in penury. I am talking about lack of basic
necessities like clean water, good hospitals and good schools that some of our
African leaders have vehemently refused to provide for us.
From the reports, this particular
woman should be settling into her new life in a country where everything works,
where you can dial an emergency number while in danger and get a response. She would
be trying to get used to switching on the light and having it come on and
watching the television without having to pray half of the time for NEPA not to
strike and steal her joy away.
One thing I hope for is that this
particular woman should always remember that this man chose her just the way
she was and so should never try to look like those that she may see in her new
environment. She should not tamper with her dentition, there is a reason God
made us that way, we eat meat a lot. Our dark skin is made for our sometimes
harsh weather conditions and God knew exactly what He was doing when He made us
thick and like they say, Black don’t crack.
She should not try to fix her
waist, hips, boobs or vjayjay, he will love her still. And if for any reason
she used ‘otumorkpo’ a.k.a black magic on the innocent man, lol she should just
enjoy all she can now for it will not last.
I am also worried about her being
accepted into the society by her new family, there will definitely be people
who will think that the man finally lost his mind and so will try to make her
life difficult.
As for me, I wish them the very
best that life has to offer and hope that they legalise their union before God
and before man.
Looking at this picture one
more time I ask again, could this be love?
It could be love (depending on what we define this love as). Beauty is skin deep and is in the eye of the beholder. There's surely more to it than strikes our eyes...
ReplyDeleteVery funny love...love is the craziest thing ever. It has no class, no race no religion etc. It is love but I think she will change and disappoint the good man.
ReplyDeleteIt's typivtyof African women. Once cross over, they forget everything. And become very self centered
