A Breath of Different Air 2

The guys envied Audu and the women were happy for him, for at last a girl, an unassuming had the power to make the notorious playboy think of settling down; the only one left out in the happiness was the jilted ex-girlfriend.

Two years into her degree programme Meso and Audu got married and shortly after Meso was expecting their first child and she even got prettier in pregnancy. Pregnancy did not slow Meso down, she combined her education and role as a wife well and even still found the time to check on her cousin's home.

Audu was happy, he got it all; a beautiful wife, a good cook, domesticated, and the best of the features was her expertise behind closed doors. It was mind-blowing and indescribably beautiful; it was nothing like he had ever had and the young girl right there made him look like a learner which gave him a bit of a complex.

That was Audu's first surprise; he believed that his wife had been with no man. She never said it but he assumed that she was yet to eat the sweet fruit of the gods especially since she never let him touch her throughout their courtship. He was disappointed at first when he did not hear the painfully sweet soft moan of a first-timer, he felt like he had been played but when Meso took him to a whole new level he was begging her for me.

He passed out literally from pleasure after the first round and was done or so he thought; he was deep in sleep when he was woken up by a sweet sensation in his neck area, he thought he was dreaming and did not want to wake up from the dream. Meso worked on him with every part of her body, it felt like she had ten tongues, ten hands, and even ten breasts; he became dizzy at some point and felt like his spirit was leaving his body but what he felt was too good to resist and he was happy that he would come home to that every single day for the rest of his life, that was something he could live with.

Meso's pregnancy progressed and when the time came she safely and effortlessly put to bed a beautiful baby boy and Audu's joy was complete; he gifted her a car to thank her for giving him his first child. The child's dedication was big, Meso's mother and siblings all came to Abuja for the event even her estranged father. Her cousins, Innocent's siblings were all around for the event and the whole compound was agog with activities that weekend with both Audu and Innocent playing hosts to family, friends, and associates.

Life was beautiful and by the time Meso graduated from school with a Bachelors degree in Sociology, she had another baby and was pregnant with the third. By the time she was done with Youth service, Meso was a mother of three beautiful children, living her best life with a husband who loved her and took very good care of her and their children however, when Audu was transferred to another state to head a department in the sector that he worked, the trouble started. Meso refused to relocate to Niger state which was also Audu's home state; he was delighted to return home but Meso refused and nobody could convince her to change her mind.

Everybody thought that Meso's decision to stay put in Abuja while her husband worked full time in Minna was wrong especially with the strain it put on her marriage. She was used to people being supportive of her but this time she had only one person who seemed to understand her decision to stay back in Abuja and it was Innocent much to the chagrin of his wife Aida. He even had a confrontation with Audu over his support of Meso and it took Aida and Meso for the two friends not to exchange blows. After much ado, Audu relocated to Niger state and shuttled Minna and Abuja frequently, after living apart for a year, Audu gave Meso an ultimatum to either move to Niger state capital of Minna with their children to be with him or the marriage was over.
