When Nike got to the car park, she met Ijeze in his car, he let her come to the driver’s seat and they both sat down in silence for a while. Nike was the first to speak, “Is that why you are so angry because it was your best friend?” Ijeze did not say a word and Nike went on to speak gently to him; she said o him that he owed himself a duty to forgive Ada so he could stop being so angry. Ijeze started sobbing again, “I gave her everything: my love, time, affection, money, care, what did I not do for Ada? I still take care of her parents”. “I loved her so much, I never even looked at another woman, I had eyes only for Ada”. Nike had to stop him from speaking because she was almost breaking down in tears and she did not want that to happen. She had never seen a man so broken. They both saw when Ada walked out of the restaurant and got into her and they both watched her drive off into the night.

When Nike opened the door to leave, Ijeze pleaded with her to come home with him, she could not say no because she knew that Ijeze needed some solace that night. She accepted and drove behind to his place. She already told herself that she would just let him hold her all through the night; she would rock him like a baby and provide all the comfort that he wanted. Well, things did not go quite as planned.

She had fallen asleep but was suddenly woken up by a movement between her legs underneath the sheets, it was Ijeze and at first, she tried to protest but quickly changed her mind. Changing her mind was the best decision she took for Ijeze more than made for the last disappointment.

Nike was screaming and in her mind, she  was saying ”and I thought Bolaji was good?” She was still thinking when she exploded in an orgasm. He was never with another woman for as long as he was married to Ada and so he was both excited and nervous on that day plus he was not in the best frame of mind.

Nike asked him what he planned to do about Ada: she told him that she would drive straight to her church to meet her pastor for counseling. She had also not been with any other man since her husband's betrayal and although she enjoyed every bit of what happened, she knew that it was not right.

Ijeze smiled and told her that he felt really good and was ready to forgive Ada and be friends with her but would make plans to end the marriage legally. Later that afternoon, both Ijeze and Nike drove to Ijeze's home in Ikoyi, he insisted on going with Nike who wanted to stay out of their business.

His children were happy to see him like always. He pulled Ada up from the floor where she knelt down and hugged her; he told her that he had forgiven her and would no longer be a stranger. Ada was relieved and cried even more. Nike hugged Ada and left the two estranged couple to have some personal talks.

On their way back to his flat,, Ijeze thanked Nike for making him get over his hurt; he did not believe that he could enjoy being with another woman who was not Ada, "and do not ask me who tastes better" he added. Nike hit his arm and said, "now you must tell me". "Ada" Nike hit him all the more but she knew that he was messing with her. She couldn't believe how lucky she was and in her heart she began to thank God for sending Ijeze her way; he had the full package: good looking, wealthy, extremely generous, and the topping on the icing, very good in bed. Thank heavens that she took him up on the unexpected awoof offer!

Bothe Ijeze and Nike's divorces have gone through and they are planning a very big wedding.
