I am grateful

How time flies, how the days go by, moments turn into seconds, seconds to minutes, minutes to hours, hours to days and to weeks and to months and to years. The last post I made before today was on the 16^th of May 2022 and it is amazing all that happened in one full circle and a few days.  

The good, the bad and the ugly happened. Loved ones passed on, new ones were birthed, relationships broke, new ones were formed, sickness came, healing happened, I moved homes, I went back to school, and finished strong. I discovered new strengths and ideas. I uncovered impossibilities and found myself. In all that have happened, I am grateful that the good outweighed the bad and I am here to today to say that God did it.  

Battles were fought and won, I got more grey hair even on my eyebrows, inner strength unleashed, confidence boosted and ready for the next level.  

It is a blessing to come back on my birthday, my come back is not the way I had planned but I am grateful to even be back. Life is frail and unpredictable, and I learnt a lot this past year. I have a lot of stories to tell but today, I will just share some lessons. Live, Laugh, Live some more and Laugh some more. Family is not just blood. Some friends stick closer than blood, if you have such, guard them diligently. Forgive easily and from the heart, it reduces your stress level, be happy for everyone, and give in a way that surprises you and blows the recipient away.  

Let this sink in, you can never do life without Christ. Everything may crumble, friends and family will shock the hell out of you but with God the only surprises you get are the happy ones.  

I am thankful for life, thankful for good health, thankful for family and friends that stayed. Thankful for a new age, and thankful for the gift of each new day.  

Thanks to all who reached to ask if I was okay, thanks to all who missed my blog, thanks to all everyone who reads. Knowing that people looked forward to reading from me made me realize that this was a forever thing.  

We are back, (in Pat Utomi’s voice) yes, I am back with everything that defines me. I am older, finer, better, and bolder. Work still in progress but God has brought me far, the only option I see is ahead ahead! We move!
